I remember when floating down to Rapture at the beginning of Bioshock, it was the coolest thing I've ever seen in a video game, I was in awe in the beauty of this underwater city. I will never forget it.

*FREAKING SPOILER ALERT*
When Elizabeth or Anna teleported me there, I wanted to explore the city with her.

You (technically) can. There's a new DLC coming out called Burial At Sea. I've only seen the trailer for it so all I can say is really good looking Elizabeth, and Rapture.

Rapture have majestic architecture if you are an industrialist tycoon, is the most closest thing to a paradise, never the less, if you are poor, is the living hell.

Rapture frightens me.
Every day I go outside to see all the supermodels and their advertisements, all the products they endorse to make a person more beautiful on the outside. To have softer skin, fewer wrinkles, shinier hair, longer lashes. Every day I go out and I see the people, so desperate to look like those people in the commercials, with the shiny hair and baby skin and long eyelashes. They starve themselves and go to extensive lengths to be someone they are not, and they do so with intense vigor, matched by virtually no other passion save love and war. They are ashen and bony, but now they can fit into the small clothes and wear the lovely makeup. They are not themselves; they are ghastly hollow versions of themselves.
But they are happy.
And along comes Rapture, with its stress that aesthetics--BEAUTY--are the most important thing for a person to consider in any given situation. Cosmetic surgery is not enough; genes must be changed and mutated and switched about until one is the person they wish to be. This is their downfall; for in a metaphor thinner than mist come the horrifying Splicers, ranting about how they must of course be beautiful because the dear Dr. Steinman made it so. They must not have been informed of his less fortunate patients.
I post this not as a criticism or even as a rant but as a warning: human beings know what they want, and as a general rule of thumb, those with true desire achieve their wish. Look at Rapture, my internetters.
Is this what you would like to achieve?

That critic is because I beginning to love this game, I never seen in a game in now that have that hard teaching, even Bioshock Infinite have a hard teaching, but you only see it at the end.
But, even the Ayn Rand hard fans don't see the obvious criticism.

Ah, humans. Alas, their demise is their own pleasure.
