This took longer than I expected to, lack of time and energy mostly. I had some problems with the coloring towards the end, it seems as if the paper becomes rougher and harder to color with if it's left for a few daysI'm sort of toying with the idea of Dash being a huge Sonic fan, of both the old and the not-so-old and the new. As for me, one day I will get back into drawing him, a rougher, tougher, more badass Sonic design, but not yet I guess... pony ideas come to me too easily.

As you can imagine, I listened to a LOT of sonic music doing this, especially anything from Generations. I love the classic remix of green hill zone, it's the subtle differences from the original that make it awesome. Also Sonic Arcade songs, like [link]
The Classic Sonic plushie's eyes are green because no true Sonic fan would care.

Seriously, this is one of the most logical fandom crossovers ever, and you've drawn it with a sincerity and authenticity that I don't think can be matched. Rainbow dash sitting, as if conceding that Sonic is faster than her. HEr body curled up around the plushie like a happy child. The blank eyes of the toy. You've drawn all of us in Dash and made her more likeable. Thanks.

Either Rainbow Dash pre-ordered Sonic Colors, or she went to Sonic Boom. Only why she could have gotten the hat.
Also I would love if this was made cannon. If they can make Rainbow a fan Daring Do, aka Indian Jones. Then they can make her a fan of a something that is obviously a parody of Sonic.
Bonus points if they made it she'd been a fan for years.

I just realized how in-character this would be for Dash. |D If Dash was a gamer, she'd probably like Sonic, because he's fast. Going fast is so much more exciting on the ground, because you really feel the speed due to all the stuff flying by. Also the difficulty of not crashing into stuff.

Sonic rules, ponies rule, Dash and Sonic have so much in common they really are a perfect fan pairing; this is a good imagine with good feeling.
