Description
This project was frustrating at times, definitely a test of patience-- but I enjoy a good challenge every now and then. Not perfect, but I can at least say I gave it my best shot.
Materials: HB mechanical pencil, 4H-8B sketch set

Wow! I like the impression of speed in this, with the horizontal lining in the background and on the tiger. The contrast makes this amazingly eye-catching, with all the whites and blacks, and it makes the tiger look so soft and shiny but fierce! Very cool use of technique to give the subject an incredible force of character.

First of all, when you draw tigers, I am all over that. second of all, when you draw them this dynamic and well executed, I practically eye-gasm at it.

You must've worked hard on this. The black and white really complements the animal's ferocity

This is absolutely stunning.
I'm intrigued by the technique you used for the whiskers...

Whiskers are by far my least favorite part of drawing tigers
Thanks!

I've always loved your realism drawings/illustrations. They always have a lot of contrast and they look very clean. Awesome job.

That is intense. I've been wanting to draw a Tiger, but I haven't dared to try it. HAHA Like you say, it is a test of patience, with all the fur. And you know how I like my hair to be just absolutely crazy, most of the time XD

For me, drawing tigers has this weird duality of being fun and frustrating, often simultaneously. I'm sure you could pull it off really well if you just took the plunge and attempted it, it's just a matter of finding the time to do so

Rawrrrr. Tigers are so cool, who cares how frustrating it gets, if your results are this badass ;3
School, work, relationship, homework. Making time for anything right now has been rather difficult XD

Not really sure, to be honest. I always lose track of time when I'm drawing
