The Angler-snake has almost completely lost its back limbs. This banderlog has an incredibly specialized lifestyle. It is a cave animal lives in caves and it uses its bizarre "wings" to lure small animals into the caves it lives in. It will then leap onto the prey by striking the ground with its enlarged tail. It will then drink the prey's blood piercing the skin with a sharp tongue. This banderlog like most with tails gives birth to snake like babies but in this species it says in this snake like form through into adulthood .
