Seb's main power is speed, capable of running at speeds of 50 km/h as an equivalent for jogging speed to him. It's possible he could run much faster, but his stamina leaves him outside of anything but short bursts of greater speed.

While not invulnerable, Seb has built up a toughness along with his super speed to protect him from sudden impact, friction and inertia and can survive physical assault that would kill a normal human being. The injuries he might suffer are quickly taken care of by his metabolism, and injuries that would take weeks to heal usually only take a couple of days. His durability also enables him to push/press up to 500 kg with relative ease. Not quite superstrength, but close enough.

Under periods of extreme emotional trauma such as rage or fear, Seb is able to briefly enter a state where his speed and strength is increased ten, sometimes even a hundredfold. When this happens, it's usually recognized by the red markings on his costume suddenly glowing white like his eyes. This drains a lot of energy though, and he's left close to starvation after such bursts.

Seb is immune to all forms of telepathy, mind control and psychic tracking, possibly as a side effect of his thought impulses moving faster than a normal human's. Another less impressive feat is his ability to light up his eyes in a white glow when he subconsciously wants to look intimidating.

Weaknesses:
Virtus main weakness is to conserve energy. He needs to eat a lot of food to keep up his blood sugar, and has to take care not to exert himself while using his powers, resting from time to time. His immunity to mind control is not quite as strong against female pheromone manipulators or lust spells, probably due to his hormones being just as hyperactive as his other body functions. While it's still impossible to mentally persuade him do things against his will, he can be distracted for vital seconds.

Seb is a skilled amateur actor and tenor vocalist, which proves useful at times.

Virtus is a straight-up altruist superhero by nature, doing his best to help others without asking for a reward. He's disgusted by such notions as lethal force, the death penalty and pretty much anything that goes against the idea that life is sacred and that everyone deserves a second chance. He himself will not kill unless it's absolutely, positively the only way. Also, excessive gore makes him nauseous.

Virtus maintains an open mind at most times, and lacks prejudices, even against demons, aliens and other non-human individuals. In the end, it all comes down to what kind of person you are. Whether if you honor or take advantage of his trust, his pure spirit will only leave the vilest of people unaffected.

The nickname "Virt the Flirt" is a misconception... While Virtus has been known to be a 'chick magnet' just for being the way he is, he has never intentionally charmed a woman, and is still socially ackward as ever around them, but not to the level that he can't flirt a little once a woman has reeled him in and gained his trust. Make no mistake, Virtus is no womanizer. Every affair, fling or relationship with one or more partners that he's ever had means a lot to him, and is a memory he always carries in his heart. He is not exclusive, but he's still your friend. He's always honest upfront about his polyamorism, and has never broken a heart because of it. He's just that lucky.

It was a day in September...

Seb Sanders was simply a student at the wrong place at the wrong time (Although that depends, seeing as how much he came to enjoy what it turned him into). During a trip in the fall to Geneve, Switzerland, with the rest of his class, Seb Sanders, shy as always, decided to just head back to the hotel room rather than sitting around in a bar. On his way back though, he caught sight of a couple of men standing by a dark limousine. He shrugged his shoulders at the whole deal. Suddenly, he felt something hit him in the back of his head and everything went black.

He awakened the next morning, back in his hotel bed without a thread on his body save his boxers and no memory of what had happened while he was unconscious. Piecing together what little he knew, he deduced that he had probably just been worn out from the long walk and slipped into bed the first thing he did. It was time to head home back to Sweden.

The next week was strange to say the least. Seb, who usually loathed waking up every school morning felt strangely invigorated, almost as if he had been reborn. Nothing could ruin his day... save for the typical 'alpha male' Anton. The bully picked the wrong day to bully Seb Sanders as the 'victim' dodged every try to grab a hold of him. When he took out his personal bully with one punch, Seb gradually came to realize that something had changed. Confiding in his mother Inger as soon as he got home about this turn of events, he pondered about what do with his new powers.

"Have you forgotten what you said long ago?"

Clueless, Seb pondered what his mom meant as she then pulled out a drawing he had done when he was a toddler. It was a crudely drawn image of himself wearing a cape.

""When I gwow up, I want to become a supew-hewo. Just like Capt'wain Sta'wson."" She imitated teasingly.

"Then you got into video games, and the rest is history."

Seb chuckled slightly.

"I also remember you saying something about me having to make sure my grades don't fail because of it."

Inger paused and smiled.

"As long as it doesn't affect your grades." She said and winked.

With those word, the young man made his decision with his mother's blessing.

Seb Sanders has no memory of the accident that gave him his powers. But does he angst over the 24 hour gap in his memory? Heck no. Now he's living a discarded childhood dream.

Because he can help and reach out to people in ways he was too shy for in his civilian identity. For freedom. Justice. And above all, for tradition. After "The Vanishing" that occured in August 2008 in Seb's world, there's been a serious shortage of spandex-clad clowns... But don't tell him I said that.
