I think of all the things I've ever drawn, this is my favourite.Everything came out the way I wanted it to and this is my first proper go with Faber Castell Polychromos. I love them so much
The title for this is a nod to the song 'Red Sails In The Sunset'. Of course, I had to substitute red for blue for obvious reasons

I love dragons~ Just omg this is beautiful~ The contrasting colours, the shading, the light on dark, it all reflects beautifully, not just on the artwork, but on the type of artist you are. Passionate, determined, with a hint of being solitary, searching, but never finding, running but never taking that leap. What you see and what you don't see, the line between reality and fantasy, it's there, but we can't see, we believe and thus we can sense. A deep connection between artist and art, the window of what is being reflected, stuck in the grey, between the light and the dark. Hope and desperation, faith and fear. Often our mind is reflected in our work. This is a gorgeous piece, good job~
