He looks a bit bare. maybe a jacket added? And the quills at the back could use some str8tening out. But his shoes are nice. Maybe a different sonic color palette? .Good shading,just the dark shade looks a bit too light,maybe darker? That's all!

Sorry, but I have to disagree about the darker shade colour. It seems way better this way since it adds more contrast to the colour of the sprite image, and with a fix of the shade placement it will be a beast in terms of shading
