I love your expressions and freedom with color, one small thing, I wouldn't define her stomach so much, the shadow to her bellybutton. But that's nothing compared ot how much fun the rest of it is! hope our stuff can compare when its done!

Hahaha. Yeah. Its like, only a handful of people know about this movie. Its so awesome. I think they should come out with a collectors edition DVD or something. I honestly think if they did that or some other re-release of the movie on DVD that sales would do very well. =3

Thanks for using my stock! I like your style. I like the shading. The lighting could maybe use some color to match the flame a bit. Other than that, it's great. If you're seeking a harder critique, I recommend the Thumbshare Forum .

I remember that background! (personally I don't think that the water looks bad at all, and any discoloration is minimal at most)
Okay then, let's begin.
You've done an excellent job with the lighting on the hair, it has a really great sheen to it, though I would suggest you put a few more dark lines to give it greater depth and contrast. (especially near the top of the head)
Also, I find their waists and hips get a little too narrow, making the characters look kind of top heavy. The hips should generally be about as wide as the shoulders. The rest of their bodies are well proportioned though.
And my final critique would be to add a bit of a shine or sparkle to the wings. (but that's more asthetics than anything else)
All in all, you did a really great job. And I hope that I wasn't too hard on you. (especially since I can't do any better myself!

I've always had problems drawing half a person in proportion... I've ALWAYS gotten narrower as i go down from the head XD lol

Same here, Though I found that if I draw out the curve (i.e. the spine), then draw two parallel lines on either side of it, the body's proportions tend to stay more balanced.
Oh! I forgot to mention yesterday that you draw hands very well. They have great depth and volume. (mine always look like they've been run over with a steam roller)
