Beautiful work!!! Even if "Unico" isn't my favorite anime (I prefer "Sea Prince and the Fire Child"), I'm completely blown away at your brightly colorful rainbow background and cute-looking character designs.

I was the same - didn't know this was anime until years later. I just knew I loved the movies. Still do. Island of Magic was always my favorite.

I want to get into unico, kimba, and princess knight...but I prefer to read manga and I don't know where to get my hands on english translations? do you know if they exist? I have tried understanding different fan sites including the Tezuka in english...but I don't know where to start watching if I end up only watching the anime...I have to watch things in order you see... >.< I am obsessive compulsive like that. Nice pic btw...sorry for the ranting question. lol

BIBBLE. I totally watched the Sea Prince and the Fire Child, and the character looks almost like Unico. Of course, same animation studio, it makes sense. This rocks by the way.

Tastes differ. I, for one, have no desire to ever watch a Unico" film, having read the descriptions. Just because it's by Tezuka (whose life was shortened by eating Japanese food), doesn't make it a must !
