Well, here's the piece I've been working on the past few days! It features 7 swordsman that all come from stories involving time travel! Why'd I choose 7? Probably because of Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai.For those of you who can't figure out who the characters are, I'll list them:
(From Left to Right)
-Crono from Chrono Trigger
-The Prince from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
-Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z
-Link from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
-Ulrich Stern from Code Lyoko
-Future Hiro Nakamura from Heroes
-Samurai Jack from...well, Samurai Jack
As for the creatures, I made them up...I figured that if they had been bad guys from all the different franchises, that it would take the focus away from the 7 swordsmen! So instead, I created some giant creatures, with some more "time-related" motifs; such as the hands of the clock on the eyebrows, and the hourglass on the chests.

Good use of the widescreen effect. I think it really helps the composition of his piece because it makes your eyes pan around more. I don't know the story but I can say I like how complex the composition is in the fact that it's not just one fight scene, it's multiple or in progress.

Thanks, I'm glad you dig the widescreen effect and composition! I was trying to give it more or a cinematic feel to it, so I wanted it to have a sense of motion to it!

awesome choices for this, and I love how they're fighting time related creatures, though it seems like there should be a bit more so the hero's look more overwhelmed. anyway, the dead tree location is well done, and the lightning effect around trunks looks so cool

Haha, thanks! Yeah, I figured I should, since most of my original watchers came because of my Code Lyoko artwork (which I haven't done any in ages!). So it was just a matter of time, until some new Code Lyoko work found its way into my gallery!

That's too bad! It was originally going to continue, but I guess it's been so long after it aired, that it might not happen! Though, in my opinion, the last episode sucked!
Code Lyoko was always blowing me away by their amazing cliff-hangers at the end of each season! The last few episodes of each season always were such a thrill for me to watch, but then the last episode of the last season aired...utter disappointment! And I found the part where they talk to the audience, and say "See you next time!", really corny!
But yeah, really great series overall, in my opinion!

Excellent idea! I do agree that if Future Trucks just flexed his chest, everyone would die, or Hiro would just stop time, chop everything up, and the other guys would just stand there confused lol.
