Looks like something made out of Magnetix, an old construction toy line from the creators of Mega Bloks.

It is also called Teserakt. It is a 3 dimensional representation of a 4 dimensional cube. Nice job btw

Love it! Almost looks like a pentagon though if you keep watching the bottom of it, or maybe it's just me.

That's pretty slick though

Love it. Higher dimensions are among my favourite subjects. Have you ever tried this effect with a more complex shape, such as a flower?

i get ir now the nearest on goes at a sort of slope than goes from the bottom line and continuing.!!!!!epic!

Ah a hypercube, the theory around them is rather complicated

oh how time can be so fucked up in a 3 dimensional perspective on a 2 dimensional computer screen.

i dont think 4D is time, this is about the 4th dimension of space

After staring at this for ten minutes, I've finally figured out how it works! Starting from the front most cube, it grows, moves back, shrinks, goes within itself, moves forward, and grows.... Or something like that, for every square in the center. Yeah. I think that's it.
THIS THING IS BREAKING MY BRAIN.

Ok, here's something to think about. Imagine the world was 1-D, and you wanted to take a safe full of something (let's say it's millions of dollars). You could only move backwards and forwards on a straight line. If I put a dot on the line, you couldn't steal my safe because I blocked your path. In a 2-D world (such as a 2-D Mario platformer) you could move in any direction except closer and farther away from the "screen" . I could stop you by putting a rectangle around the safe, so you couldn't get it. In a 3-D world, I could stop you by putting a locked box around the safe, so you couldn't open it. Now this is the funny part. If you came from a 4-D world, you could take the money without opening the box or safe, or even touching them at all!

Hi. I liked you renders. Specially the animated ones. I wanted to ask if you could make a new render of this hypercube with better quality and with a different angle (like the one on wiki [link] I'd love that

Tutorials take so much time and are only useful for very few people.
This thing isn't even hard to make - it takes about 30 minutes but i just don't have the time to make a tutorial. However, if you really want to know how its done write me a note and i'll give you a short explanation.
