I tend to try and go for the most difficult things when I have a choice. I'm trying to get better at mechanics and vehicles, although I'm not amazing at environments either, so a chance to practice any of those is great. I've got a class in the morning tomorrow which is always good for these sort of things, so I can't wait. It's cool you're trying to improve on your weaknesses, it's what makes you a better artist in the long run.

Why is it always good for those things? The early class i mean? Oh is the class on environments and depicting them or mech and vehicles? That is cool then. It really does make a better anything when you revisit your weaknesses

The wednesday classes are mostly to help improve general technical drawing in many things, introducing us to common exercises that artists use in the gaming industry to come up with landscapes, characters, etc. For example, we've been doing silouhettes which has helped no end, one-point perspective and rendering exercises on Photoshop.

i was just attempting to use photoshop on my sonic drawing! Yeah i dont know why i thought that was wierd. anyway im glad its helping, hopefully i shall see the fruits in your next piece

Nice going, the more you experiment the better! Hopefully so, but it'll be a while until I upload a new piece. The work I've got at the moment isn't really for uploading and I'm off home at the weekend. Plus it's my b-day tomorrow so it's all different for the next week
