Welp.Some of you may remember me saying that I was never a fan of Cinder x Fire...
I guess I was wrong. It's kind of tragic. I mean, we never really know if things would have happened between them, but we'd like to think so, wouldn't we? Yeah..
But anyway. This is more of a dream-like picture... Blame my AcaDec teacher <-< He had us read "The Trial" by Kafka, which feels like an entire dream rolled into one book..
BUT ANYWAY.. The faded Cinderpelt is more of her showing how she feels about Fireheart/star. And the whole scene between her and Fireheart is more of a dream she's having, about them being good friends- perhaps more.

Lionpaw actually does have stripes, he's a tabby. But you are right, Fireheart does not have stripes.
Unless it's one of those things that changes constantly, like Dovewing having green, blue and golden eyes. ._.

I heard of the Cinder Fire thing, but it was never really shown in the books. I mean, she was his apprentice, not his girlfriend.

But in the middle of OoTS, when Cinderheart remembers she was Cinderpelt, she says something about her being in love with Fireheart. c:

I used to not be a fan of CinderXFire either. That was, until I fell in love with a guy who has no idea I like him and probably doesn't like me in the way I like him. Then I caught myself thinking "I am Cinderpelt, and you are my Firestar." I understand her feelings now.

I read the trial the summer i went to sixth grade!! amazing book. for some reason i think he wasn't guily. :C
