Description
The last character was inspired by more of a modern mythical creature, a cryptid. Probably the most well-known one, next to your yetis and sasquatches.

Cryptid
Hyperactive and very curious. Born in a wolf litter, he differed greatly from his siblings: being bald and deformed, he was rejected by his mother at a very young age.

As a puppy that was left completely alone, he sobbed day and night. He could not hunt so he was restricted to carrion. Because of lacking most of the teeth, he was unable to eat meat properly. He was a bloodsucker.

He grew up quickly and learned how to care for himself. Still not knowing how to hunt wild animals properly, he preyed on the ones living on farms. What people who were able to catch him red-handed were yelling, he accepted as his name: Chupacabra.

On a certain windy morning, Chupacabra noticed a spectacular beam of light appear briefly just beyond the forest that was his home. He then rushed into the direction of the anomaly. What he saw right where it presumably originally appeared was truly disturbing: there was a goat shaking wildly on the ground, making sounds awfully resembling distorted human screams. The few other members of its group that happened to be nearby, almost instantly ran away, visibly terrified.

At that moment, Chupacabra decided to end the suffering of the trivially easy prey.

When he sunk his teeth in its neck, all of a sudden, from all the openings in the animal’s body emerged great clouds of grey smoke. Then blew a wind so incredibly powerful that it threw Chupacabra down the meadow, causing him to bounce like a rubber ball until he suddenly stopped on the trunk of a freestanding oak, immediately losing consciousness.

Once he woke up, the first thing he saw was an orbiting him single firefly which suddenly flew a few meters away from him and then hung in the air, as if awaiting his reaction. Chupacabra was led by the mysterious little creature to the foot of huge stone brick ruins, the top of which could be reached by walking up a row of crude stairs. He ran after the firefly up to the very top of the building, where the insect simply vanished before his eyes. A moment later, Chupacabra was blinded by bright, golden light, clouds in the sky split and right in front of him hung in the sky a humongous serpent. Its entire body was covered in beautifully reflective feathers. The creature was looking at him in the same way a proud parent looks at their child. Suddenly, it extended one of its gigantic flippers in the direction of Chupacabra and gently touched the center of his forehead. He was momentarily struck by sudden numbness and fainted once again shortly after.

Finally woken up by a torrential rain, he realized that in contrary to what he would normally think, none of what he previously saw was a dream. He was still standing on top of some ancient ruins, yet there was no trace left of the giant serpent having ever been there. However, what caught his attention was his own reflection in a puddle constantly bombarded by heavy raindrops. Now, there appeared not to be even a tiny spot left on his face that wouldn’t be covered with uncanny symbols.
