this is beautiful...in so many powerful ways. I hate it when kids get hurt, and for someone to do it deliberately...grgh, i wanna go kill the already dead suicide bomber!

this was such a powerful photograph, and you've captured the mood of it beautifully. i esp like the distressed texture. i just wish it was a little more obvious that was a soldier carrying the child...

this reminds about a photo i saw of a soldier carrying a badly injured baby in a blanket with blood stains. i have always wanted to paint this, but i didn't feel strong enough. it would just remind me of my helplessness in front of war and human violence.
