Final picture of 2018! Finished it with 5 minutes to go. Nothing like cutting it fine, eh?
I was practising with perspectives and depth, so the rest of the picture is fairly simple; just Chase, Eve and Slade enjoying the snow together. Not that we have any here, yet... Can't say 2018 has been great for me... The last few months have been hard going.
But here's hoping for a better 2019!

Still need to work on my colouring a bit, I chickened out with doing interesting shading and just stuck to fairly flat colours. Must get braver with that in the future! Problem is finding the time to devote to it.

I've never tried that angle before, but I can see how it would be very difficult to achieve. Foreshortening to any degree is hard, but when it's more extreme, the difficulties become more pronounced. I think you pulled it off, though!
I think it's funny that you find that extra shading takes courage. I'm the opposite. I hide behind dark shadows. They cover many mistakes! Which is why so many of my pictures are overly dark. And depressing. Yours are always lighter and happier!
