Anyway, Hido is back for another round. And boy do I have a lot to catch up on.

It is not the same.
This is a replica version Yami made, with a afew extra surprises.
It's not as good as the original actually.
Not as strong defensively, nor does it give him the same strength and speed as the other one did. But the invisibility on this one is SUPERB.
It doesnt make him transparent-ish like th other one does... but actually makes him dissapear and be phase-able.
In other words, it's a ghost armor.
But it also takes his energy to use such an ability, and so he doesnt use it often.
Yami's armor is powered by Hido's emotions and vital energy, not it's own powersource.

I did use the pc for color however... though my comics will unlikely be colored.
As for the character, yes, kinda. Hido was in a tournament before which I am merging with this one's story through him.

I notice some subtle design changes. Were those on purpose, or is this the updated/final design? I often change/tweak design elements as I get to the final design.

Oh, I wasn't actually saying that it looks more finished, but the upload date on this is later than the other one [unless I read it wrong], so I just assumed this featured a more updated design, haha. It probably looks more finished because it's in the context of a dramatic character illustration, while the other is just a design page, which has its own charm.
So is it just me, or does he have blond hair with black tips, or specific tips are black?

Hmm. I like the way he's holding the swords here. It makes for an interesting fighting style. I think I'll use this color scheme too.
I have another question, though, since I'll be using this color palette. His outfit here is a different color from the original palette, so wouldn't the swords match his outfit, i.e. red with black hilts? Or is there a reason why his swords have the original colors? I imagined the thumbnail in color with red swords, since I wasn't looking at this when I drew it, but yeah, I notice the color this time around, haha.

Well, there IS a reason for them staying the original colors in the story where he gets the alternate colors, but I suppose you can do whatever you'd like =]

I finally finished the drawing for Project Lunia today at long last, so I can move on to phase 2 of this project now! Oh joy. Dohi is now left-handed again, among other updates, lol.
