Yet another character from Wildnorwester, Eric the Gresley V1/V3 tank engine!
the difference here is that here, in my universe, Eric is an actual member of his class, not a replica. He was built in 1930 by the LNER, arrived on Sodor in 1937, and initially worked as a heavy-duty branch line engine. Also, come 1968, Eric becomes the dedicated banking engine for Gordon’s Hill, kind of like the Midland Railway’s “Big Bertha” for the Lickey Incline.
