This might be the hardest comment I've ever written. Yesterday, in the early hours of the morning, I've lost my beloved father after a short, relentless battle to Covid-19. We couldn't even say goodbye. I'm utterly heartbroken, devastated, numb. Those of you who have been following me for a long time might know that my father has been the inspiration for every single Darkwing/Gosalyn-picture I did over the years. And since my time in the DWD-fandom began on DeviantART and this picture was one of the first DWD-pieces I ever created, it felt right to share this with you here once more. It was a present I sent to my father on Father's Day 2006, while I was studying abroad.

I'm missing him terribly, more than words can tell.
