Meet Clyde - Formally known as just Fowler, he's a tank engine who was brought to Sodor during the Great Depression. He was sent to help run the Norramby Branch as part of an agreement between the NWR/LMS, though nowadays he works on the Kirk Ronan Branch.

During the days of the rivalry between the big five, he acted as the cunning leader of his group of LMS Engines, the Midis. He was renowned for his deviousness and scheming prowess and could give those like Damien a run for his money. A tank engine with ideas to prove that his railway, the London, Midland, and Scottish Railway was superior... most of which are prone to backfiring. However, despite his antics, Clyde is still an engine that wants to prove himself to be a really useful engine, like most engines, and has shown some good in him from time to time, even if he refuses to show it at times, especially to the North Westerns.
