Introducing my take on our Q1 friend: Neville.

In his youth, he was considered a clumsy, forgetful, shy, and overall timid engine. However, there were times where he proved himself bravery beneath his insecurity, during WWII and sometimes willing to stand up to his own friends when they would do something wrong. As the years went by, he became a more courageous engine. Part of the poor engine's problem seemed to have come from poor self-esteem, as he sometimes referred to himself as a "Nobody". This mostly stemmed from constant teasing from the other engines from his unusual designs (Not helped by the fact his class was nickname 'Ugly Ducking') and faulty brakes. If not from that, then when others compared him unfavorable to some of the more accomplished engines.

Throughout the trials, he faced over the years and with the support of his friends he made on Sodor, the encouragement of Edward and Molly to face his fears, Neville blossomed from a timid, self-deprecating, and generally nervous student into a stalwart soldier possessed of an ironclad will, the courage of outstanding merit, and a nobility of spirit, despite still having a comical and shy but at the same time courageous and fierce personality.
