tbh u just gotta make your lines quickly, but not layer them. if you mess it up then just keep redrawing it until it looks right

this can take a while to get the hang of and sometimes you have to redo a line like 20 times but it looks v nice when youre done!

haha thanks I'll try to keep that in mind 
but on the other hand I have no idea how to explain colors in a couple of sentences 
like seriously there is SO MUCH MY GOD IT'S TOO MUCH
okay well basic stuff I guess... urm..
- When making darker areas/shadows try using cooler colors for the shadows (such as purple or blue) instead of just a darker version of the original color
-color complements are really pleasing to the eye- (colors on the opposite sides of the color wheel) -like red and green or blue and orange
DON'T use equal amount of each; instead use one more dominantly then the other.
