you can always make the ammo caseless that way u can cut down on the size of the ammo and the ammo box. also u would be able to carry more ammo for the same weight. caseless ammo is 1/2 to 1/3 the size and weight of normal ammo.

I'd just like to point out that the .50 is a pretty big mother of a round, and I spy two minor problems here. Firstly, the ammo box should be much longer in relation to the grip and trigger, unless this is designed to be carried by some form of Super-MJOLNIR armour, and secondly, 1000-rounds is alot of ammo to be carrying, i think maybe you should take off one of the zeroes. Other than those two niggling little criticisms, this is an excellent piece! Hell, if I were a Spartan, I'd be carrying this into every battle 8D

Both correct and valid points. Next time I do a graphical update I'll draw the .50 round in to scale and construct the box around that. I based both its size and its capacity on the machine gun from Halo Reach which, although being relatively realistic, does have some inaccuracies.
