Please don't look at it if you were unable to play/finish The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword yet. Otherwise this concept might spoil you about the story.Things I can sure mention is that my concept is most of all based on elements found in the game, of course with some little details added by my personal hand. xD Oh! And if you were able to see some manga illustrations which show another goddess concept... ignore them I tell you. They are completely pointless to me and are as fictional as my own Zelda theory. Only the creators of Zelda know the truth about the whole story. Over and out. B-I

Beautiful representation of the Hylia you have there. I never understood why the team at Nintendo decided to make the statue so podgy and short. It's not very glamorous at all. Not fitting for the Goddess it is supposed to represent.

9 u 9 Really?! Thank you soooo much honey!! It's already a year now that Skyward Sward was released and I am still in a hype for it! Most of all when it comes to the pre-story of the game. It is so mysterious and the longer I played the game, the more images came up my head!! Not to mention that it's colours and atmosphere are so damn touching, it inspires me all the time!!

Heck yea. I wish they had given more backstory into it. It's so interesting, and it makes me wonder why of all people did Hylia favor the humans? She didn't send any of the other races away, and she charged the birds with protection of the humans. Why? There's so many reasons, and I wish Nintendo would tell us! Well...maybe it'll be explained in Hyrule Historia (which I hope to get this upcoming year).

It is much fun to break ones head on such difficult questions, but it is even more fun to solve them with much much creativity!
I hope I will be able to show you people my little prequel to Skyward Sword, which includes my theory of the goddess era and Roan's origin. 9 u 9 (because it is easier to tell the story by following his life o 3 o)

Die Story war wirklich niedlich, hat mir das GefΓΌhl gegeben den Author ein Glas warme Milch und Kekse anzubieten, wΓ€rend ich ihm den Kopf kraule. Den Umhang von Link fand ich irdenwie ΓΌbertrieben, aber seine Schulterplatten gefielen mir seeeeeehr!

She's absolutely lovely! I think she fits the Goddess perfectly; she looks so regal and I like that she looks older and more mature than Zelda does in the game. You definitely kept true to the design elements the game presented, but added your own flourish to the design and it worked wonderfully. Great job! c:

Finally a fan rendition that actually looks like it was Hylia in some era. While I applaud them for their creativity, most of the redesigns I've seen are so completely different, dont resembles Zelda or the statue that much, which sorta bothered me. Nice job with the veilI've seen many attemps at the feather part of the head and msot people make her head feathers and the like, but I like how you made it an actual veil. Nice job!

Yeah my first thought as a veil too because her hair line (like, the hair right on her forehead) looks normal while the rest looks like she is wearing veil. It seems too obvious to me that she is WEARING something on her head the resembles feathers.

Wow, this is really amazing.
I'm in the process of making a costume, not a drawing, of my own version of Hylia...I have to admit, compared to this it's not going to be accurate at all. It will reflect her colours though at least- I'm of the opinion that she really should have a more obvious association with the light purples. But, this is a very true to the games, very well designed concept! I'm very impressed.

I have progress stuff of my costume up, and a re-draw of the manga cover done "my way" to show off what it should look like, if you're curious. I love my version of course, it's going to be really comfy, lol.
One thing I really love about your version and my own is the hair sort of matches, whereas the manga just looks like an older Zelda- the fact that bangs/fringe or no, it parts in the middle there. I really love the belt thing you did...I had actually been toying with adding the Hylia Crest somehow, or some kind of jeweled belt. This kind of gives me an idea that might work without overpowering the design I have going on. ^_^
