Please don't look at it if you were unable to play/finish The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword yet. Otherwise this concept might spoil you about the story.Things I can sure mention is that my concept is most of all based on elements found in the game, of course with some little details added by my personal hand. xD Oh! And if you were able to see some manga illustrations which show another goddess concept... ignore them I tell you. They are completely pointless to me and are as fictional as my own Zelda theory. Only the creators of Zelda know the truth about the whole story. Over and out. B-I

Eh.. my hands are a complete mess, constantly in pain from the smallest bits of work. (left and right) One doctor says I just gotta exercise my hand muscles, the other says carpal tunnel (most likely) but I can't really spend any money on doctors. :'3 It really sucks though.

Haha, no they are more symbolic. In that little AU I created she lives a life resembling the image of a bord in a golden cage. Since dieties in her time were plentyful and had their own lands to guard and rule, it was said so by their "mothers" the three main goddesses, also known as creators Nayru, Din and Farore, that her godly decendants shall only walk on holy ground. The sheikah, which are the folk closest to Hylia are protecting her and also built temples for her, so she can visit different places within her lands.
The wings are thus a symbol for her wish for freedom. It was only until the great war against Demise when she had given up her immortality as a diety, so she could form the land with the help of the Triforce to save her people, that Hylia was able to step out of her bonds and see the world, even though her imminent death, did not really give her much time to enjoy it. (and she kinda looks like an angel 9v 6 *derp*)

Thank you very much! C: I wanted to create a story with more depth to the characters, including a young Impa, human Demise, other dieties and some OCs to help me out. xD
Like my OC Roan and Demise's daughter. I wanted to give the whole thing a bit more than just: There was this goddess and that demon king who wanted to take over the world! (such cliche evil) I should eventually write it down for my followers and fellow Zelda fans to read... 9v 6

Since I made the concept ahead of people who had not finished the game back then, I tried to avoid spoilers, so I uploaded a PDF file, for which you need reader. Aawww, thanks a lot sweety. I am really happy that my work actually is helpful for cosplayers. C: I know my costumes tend to have slight variations (especially this concept and the one with all the layers splitted) The winged triforce for example is a brooch with three savety pins to hold together and adjust her second layer of dressing with her main dress. I do weird stuff like that. xDD I also changed a bit of her hair and well, I should probably redraw this concept here so there won't be any confusion. 9 v Β 6 It will be done until August, promised. Then you can cosplay it 100% original! I am excited to see it then! ;D (also good luck on the wings, curiouse to see how you will make them)

Hylia is one of my favourites so far. (not the version from the Manga though) Her legend and the atmosphere of SS really inspired me for creating a very own fan theoretical story related to the events before Skyloft was sent into the sky. Of course, with lots of romance and epic twists and stuff. xDD Just because I love romance and drama... *stabs her own characters*
