I still feel so down because of my harddrive... OTL All my precious data, drawing feels painful for me lately, but after I got Hyrule Warriors for Christmas, I felt inspired enough to doodle a bit. This is the result. A couple of scenes from Roan's coming of age journey. His trials were set in a far kingdom across the Lanayru sea, in a land full of sand where a grim goddess lived with her worshippers, which happened to be a tribe of amazonian women. He got seperated from his fellow sheikah during a huge sandstorm and later captured by the Gerudo. They didn't treat him nicely at first, they simply did as they pleased and took advantage of his youth. But after they figured out that he was able to get out of their prison every night to provide himself with water and food, even returning to his cell for the day again to obviously mock them, actually pissed them off enough to send him into the most dangerous part of the dessert to show him that they had no need for him anylonger. It was a maze like canyon where Ghomas had their nests spreaded throughout endless caves. He was missing for months and when he returned, scars covered his eye and abdomen. His weapons and attire came from the remains of fallen sheikah, their corpses were spread around the canyon, some old... some new.
