so this is an entry for *Breathless-dk 's contest, with the them of "use your imagination." [see the contest here .]

the concept of this manip started a little different than the way it looks now. i was trying to make it look like two individuals splitting from one central starting point, into two different worlds. it didn't come out quite as nicely as i'd hoped, but it was difficult to try and achieve that.

in short, i'm not super thrilled with this, but i am pleased with it. it took a lot more time than most of my other pieces do, and i put a lot of thought into it, too. although it's not exactly what i pictured, that's nothing new...sometimes it's hard to match reality with imagination, as we all know.

still, the point of the contest was to come up with something thus far unseen on dA, and i think i've done that a little bit here (at least from what i've seen personally). execution could certainly have been better, but i did my amateur's best, haha.

if any more skilled artist out there would like to give this idea a shot, i'd welcome you to it - and i'd love to see a finished piece from you, so please drop me a link! if you use the same words, please credit me, because i made those up, haha.
