Haha- END ME.
I've been drawing cats for SO. LONG. This is ALL I have been working on since I DISAPPEARED. It was time well spent. I guess. I hope. I've been wanting to make some Warriors videos for ages now, and to do so I kind of needed to, you know, work on character designs I liked so I wouldn't have to keep referencing other people's work or making mistakes in animating the characters. This also gave me really great anatomy progress and got me comfortable with drawing feline forms. I closely followed the wiki descriptions of the cats, and heavily referenced a lot of official character art. I think the only ones I largely diverted on were Midnight and Mapleshade since I didn't think Mapleshade's description matched with the art of her as a ginger-red tabby, and for some reason Midnight's official art shows her as an American badger as opposed to a European badger . . . which she is . . . because Warriors is set in the UK. . . (This means they all have British accents, ohoho~) ALSO, BADGERS ARE REALLY HARD TO DRAW, AND I WAS NOT PREPARED. I had to do a quick badger anatomy study just to draw Midnight's weird, lumpy body. Badgers are thicc.

All of these characters are going to be shown in an animation I've had in storyboard hell for two years now. I just didn't feel motivated to start working on it before, but really wanted to make a change last month when I started getting back into art. So yeah. No clue when that video will be up, since it's going to consist of three or so minutes of animation, but yeah. Got all of these guys finally done. Personal victory achieved. Go me.

Which ones were your guys' favorite designs? I personally am in love with Redwillow, Antpelt, Hollyleaf, Mapleshade, Spottedleaf, and Blossomfall. And Hawkfrost, I guess. Edgy bois and (mostly) ginger girls. <3
