Woooooooo boy. This was several months in the making when it really shouldn't have been. . . One of my friends IRL is using a group of people they know as pokemon trainers for some project thingy, and they wanted me to be one of the elite four. I ended up settling on normal-type, (since it's my sixth favorite type and the other five were already taken) and so here we are with some of my all time favorite normal-type pokemon! I dusted off my concept sketch for my normal-type team on December 31st, and spent some of today and yesterday finishing the outlinging, coloring, and shading. I took a lot of artisitic liberty with the Pokemon designs (some more than others) and played around with some harder shading. I ended up re-using my old normal-type gym concept setting for the background for my team, and I guess it looks alright.

I particularly adore how the shiny drampa turned out.
Hims is a big banana boi. Gets all the pats and cuddle-scritches.

Also! I found out while making this that I have a weakness for making overly-fluffy Pokemon. Like . . . these fuzzballs have a ridiculous amount of fluff. Also, Pokemon are fucking huge if you bother to look at their heights. They may seem like cute little creatures, but they're called monsters for a reason. Heck-

Uh, I guess here are some quick names for my team (I change Pokemon names literally every time I play one of the roms so I don't have concrete names for any of them, really):
1) Noctowl ♂ - Julius
2) Silvally ⚬ - Mercury (Was a toss up between this name, "Stirling," and "Quicksilver.")
3) Purugly ♂ - Tiberius
4) Zangoose ♂ - Raphael
5) Drampa ♂ - Foster (Sometimes "Banana Foster," "Banana," "Nanners," "Custard," "Pudding," etc.)
6) Guess someone'll have to defeat Essy and return for a round two before any more of their team are revealed. . .
