this is a picture i took of a paper kite butterfly. taken at the st.louis zoo insectarium. in my opinion, the best photo i have ever taken, but hey im no expert! i did get the look i wanted though, with the entire backround being blurry and such. looks just like a magazine photo or something. a few friends have used it as a desktop wallpaper and anyone who likes it can do the same. just remember where ya got it and tell people i am the man!....LOL...enjoy!Related content

It's a cool shot - just too bad the leaves block out part of the butterfly and draw attention away from the subject! You should go find this butterfly again and get it to move a little bit. Butterflies are suprisingly obidient.

i do have a few others that show the whole insect but dont have that "appeal" that this one does.
maybe i'll submit them later and let the deviants decide.....
