From Animaniacs' Rita and Runt. Where as most older cartoons that I'm into now I did not watch when I was little. I watched Animaniacs. My Dad and my siblings would watch them every Saterday. I liked Rita a lot because it was the first cartoon cat that I had seen that was given a good role (asside from Disney's Aristocats) unlike poor tortured Sylvester.
So yeah, here's Rita. Didn't know what to put into the background but this works.

I do, although IΒ΄m no "real" animaniacs- or Rita the CAT fan. Found your pic while searching Rita the FOX from Jungledyret Hugo. But as I wrote, your WORK is really well done!

Very cute! The background does really fit. Rita and Runt were definitely a great part of the Animaniacs. Great details on the eyes and ears. I love the way you color, it looks amazing.

Her actress had a beautiful voice, and I loved how they animated her. I also noticed alot of cartoon cats are not very cat like in appearance and movement, but they did a great job with Rita.

anyways, I like this drawing, specially the background (graphic designer, I am..... oh nooooooooo). If you look at the eyes it kind of looks like other cartoons wearing make up, because of the highlight... eh, I don't know if I made myself clear XD

I love Animaniacs too! I have never seen fan-art from that show yet! It's great to see! Rita was definitely a good character. My favorite is when she and Runt did a parody of Les Mis'. And to be honest, I have to say I was probably already "old" when it first came out. I can remember coming home from junior high and watching both Animaniacs and Batman and Robin in the afternoon. The WB show I saw as a kid was "Tiny Toons" where yet another poor putty-tat was abused, Furball. Though it seems in all the cartoons one animal has to be accident prone. In Animaniacs finally though, it's a dog rather than a cat. Remember Buttons?

Yes, cartoons usually seem to favor or not favor certain types of animals, don't they. There were other dogs in Animaniacs too (I remember Buttons as well) that were accident prone but they were usually minor characters.
