My latest painting, a P-51D strafing German armored vehicles on a bridge. This is a very poor photo of it, but i'll be able to upload a better picture of it once i get it home from the art show.Related content

Awesome, the 51D was incomparable in air to air, but wouldn't the P-47 be better in the ground attack role?

You're right, a 47 would've been the choice fighter for the job. I didn't really paint this with historical accuracy in mind - hence the abundance of errors (i.e. no fighter could ever pull out of a dive that steep in time not to crash, .50 caliber machineguns would be worthless against Tiger armor, etc) It was fun to paint though.

Nah, I've seen guys pull out of dives steeper than that he probably just has the prop feathered, and about the tiger - maybe he's strafing the opel trucks?
