Remember when Tails and Knuckle would go super in "Sonic 3 and Knuckles"? Well okay. Sonic AND Knuckles went hyper when they collected the super emeralds, while Tails went super which just isn't fair. Any way.... What happened was... Sega decided to get rid of Tails and Knuckles' super forms. Why? Cause according to a site. either Wikipedia, or a Sonic fansite; Sega got rid of their super looks, in order to give it to the "important" characters. Sonic...Shadow.... and Silver.In the drawing you see here, Tails and Knuckles are devastated up on seeing their super forms going away. Knuckles is angry, but crying. (see the tears people?What makes a man a man, is that they are never afraid to show their feelings and/or emotions. When times are not serious. )
Amy's there cause... welll... she doesn't have a super form at all. We've seen fan comics, and artwork of Amy going super. and she too is a hedgehog. But still, Sega made a HUGE mistake. If only they'd listen to their fans.... *shakes head.*

If Sega listened to it's current fan base, the Sonic games would be overrun with fan characters, everyone would be canonnly shipped with everyone, all characters(including eggman) would have super forms, the whole sonic universe would involved in a Marvel-like Civil War over whether Sonic should marry Sally or Amy. I could go down 10 years of sonic fandom madness that would be present in the entire franchise(games and comics) if Sega listened to it's current fan base.

I would have Sega sell themselves out to Nintendo. Sega for the last 8 years has only barely kept it's financial year above water, and it's largely due to Nintendo. Ever since Sega folded as a console maker and became third party, 75 percent of sega's first party titles have been made for Nintendo systems. NOW THE Sony no longer produces a handheld unit and Xbox doesn't have one period, the only thing that mostly sells Sega stuff anymore is Nintendo. Sega would stand to gain greatly from Being a Nintendo subsidy because Sega would receive a cut of all Nintendo's profits. Think of how much money Game Freak makes off of Pokemon with Nintendo's backing and profit sharing. What if Sega did the same with Chao. It'd be money in the bank for Sega. And given the fact that Mario and Sonic are now "buddy-buddy" with each other, their combined star power would greatly benefit Sega.

I agree that Tails, at the very least, should get his super form back. Seriously, he's the only character to have a super form that wasn't just "normal form, but shiny and invincible"! I miss the golden flickies...

Recently, I found out something interesting. People hacked into Sonic Heroes, and looked at the files. The "super shields" seem to be the modern design of their Super forms, nothing less.

Is that information correct? Cause I feel it would've been better if they made Tails a brighter yellow with the super flickies (birds) and Knuckles pink again. I feel that would've been more accurate.Plus Amy and Cream need super forms as well.

Super Knuckles was never pink in the first place. It just looks like it because that was how glow effects were done on the Genesis. Same with Super Tails being a brighter yellow. Super Sonic does the exact same thing, except it's less noticeable because of the color change.
Now, however, glow effects can actually be done, rather than just an imitation of them. At a glance, you wouldn't notice the difference between Super Knuckles/Tails and normal Knuckles/Tails. You'd have to look a bit closer to see the glow around them.

Yeah, I missed them as well...the only place now to see them in their Super form (in a sense) is in the Archie's StH comics (from time to time).
As for Tails unable to go passed Super, it actually make sense if you really think about it...he is too young to hold that much power.
And about Super Amy...she never had any reasons to do so, therefore it is kinda a moot point anyway.

Tails has had alot of experience with the chaos emeralds lately. He knows how they work. He apparently has some hidden powers in Heroes. So why can't he turn Super?
Knuckles; He is the Gaurdian of the MASTER EMERALD!!!! He DEFINITELY should have the ability to turn Super.

I'll agree with you on Knuckles. Maybe he will one day.
Knowing how Chaos Emerald work (which I'm not sure he 100% does) doesn't mean he know how to transform. There probably are some aspects of the emeralds that can not be imitated, and those qualities that might prevent Tails from going Super. And, I have play Sonic Heroes myself and I'm haven't seen any particular hidden powers from Tails, just his usually abilities.
I like Tails myself, but it isn't my call whatever Tails has a Super form or not. I could come up with more theories, but the truth is, discussing the topic further is just silly. So, let the topic drop, because the only one who really got answers would be Sega and Sonic Team.

By hidden Powers, I meant the Thunder Shoot. I know every fly character can use it. But, The speed/fly/power abilities are mostly attributed to Sonic, Tails, And Knuckles.

Okay, listen and listen well! If I was you, I should stop using Sonic Heroes as a point of logic and look at it in a whole. You have to realized that different Sonic games has different rules. If you want to get some possible information straighten out, look at the Concept Mobius website and talk around in their forum (they made it their mission to figured out these kind of things)...and stop trying to be a overprotective fanboy and counter every bloody things that have been given to you!
