Look up Rayman's video game origin. Or in this case concept.

The inside joke (I think) is that Rayman was originally designed to HAVE arms and legs, but the game sprite animators couldn't make the arms and legs move WITH the body the way they wanted it to, so they just decided to eliminate them.

Not close dude. Nice try. You wanna know?
Well... Rayman was going to be a boy named..... JIMMY! that created a world called "Hereitscool". When his "world" was under attack, Jimmy became Rayman in order to protect his world.

Funny! Rayman actually DOES look like he would be a Jimmy, and it's a pity that Rayman never came out on the Super NES.
I mean, "Rayman" managed to come out on the Game Boy Color (albeit, graphically scaled down) in 1999, and that was only HALF as powerful as the Super NES!
You would THINK that the programmers could've managed to come up with SOME kind of solution!

That's alright.
Though I wished they kept the girl Rayman from the SNES prototype. I've done some fan art of her,and gave her a name.Rayana.

How do you know so much about video games?

4EverGreen In reply to spongefox [2012-01-09 08:20:57 +0000 UTC]
A lot of research, whether it's from reading video game magazines, or looking up on the internet, that's how I've acquired so much knowledge!

Have you ever played any of the video games that you know about? To kind of extend what you know a little bit?

4EverGreen In reply to spongefox [2012-01-10 21:46:45 +0000 UTC]
I've played a lot of them, for your information. I happen to consider myself an expert video game player!
You can even read some of my video game reviews on Gamespot.com; I have the same user name there to, so it will be easy to know who I am!
Enough said!

Ok. Do you think IGN, Gamespot or any other game review site's fair? Cause I hear people joke about IGN being full of ignorant people.

4EverGreen In reply to spongefox [2012-01-11 06:08:42 +0000 UTC]
Well now, that's a tougher question. I honestly can't and don't think I'm qualified to speak on behalf of the entire website of Gamespot, and I don't know much about IGN because I've never been on it. I can only speak for myself; so as far as my reviews are concerned, I consider myself as being a fair reviewer of video games. If I don't really like the game and/or I haven't tried it, I won't give it a review that would be biased and/or unfair. That's what I have to say about it.

Jimmy Two Shoes...
Jimmy... A young boy...
I think a diffrent Jimmy would fit slightly more, because he is 10 in the series and he would be capable of creating a virtual world and send himself in there. I'm talking about Jimmy Neutron here. But your choice seems to be interesting, nevertheless.
I like your style, which is showcasing in each of your gallery! You're doing a great job at the cartoon style.

This is nice blend of two things you love together as one. You've shown some signficant growth in your work and with this piece it is clear that you have perfected yours style to a great degree with there being much more in the animation and characteristics of those concepts. What's more you have improved greatly in the colouring aspect as well through the cell shading aspect of this piece with it feeling much tighter and focussed on than before. It feels as though love and attention has gone into the project, rather than simply rushing through it to get it complete and does allow for the final presentation to have a sense of impact and beauty this time round.
