Oil on canvas. 80x50 cm. My youngest niece. I thought it was a pretty good likeness but everyone exept my dad hated it.Can't win 'em all .

The painting was a good likeness but a bit sombre. I like dramatic, Spanish realism. Dark backgrounds and heavy contrast.
Portraits are so hard because even if you think you've nailed it the subject may think quite the opposite.
