doodle from my Ipad. Sometimes I still like to think up MLP OCs, so here are two i recently thought up. Drawn with some kind of amalgamation of the G4 style and mine.

Glorious Glow (usually just called Glory Glow) is the son of some wealthy and respected Lady. He took it upon himself to travel Equestria and help it's common ponies with whatever problems they may have. Glory Glow's favorite quests (as he likes to call them) involve vanquishing or thwarting beasts. He's only kind of good at what he tries to do, often messing up in minor ways which usually allows whatever creature to get away. Glory Glow is pretty much oblivious to his mistakes, and will return with a dazzling display announcing his success. His heart is in the right place at least and he can be surprisingly caring.
His special talent is the magic to make small or mediocre things seem glorious and tremendous. Usually with an accompanying lightshow. His magic is pretty weak otherwise.

Grass Rustle looks to be a dirty earth pony who seemingly has no house or family. In actuality this is the illusion form of an exiled changeling named Stridulate (Strid for short.) Strid was exiled from their hive when food was especially scarce and they weren't able to provide more than they were eating. Strid was also not very skilled with their illusions, as parts of their changeling body peak through their disguises. After being exiled, they tried to find food where they could (very unsuccessfully, it's impossible for them to stick too close to most ponies without being discovered eventually) but at some point Strid just hoped to find some way to prove themselves worthy of joining the hive again.
Grass Rustle meets Glory Glow looking for another quest and immediately sees the opportunity to lead this naive unicorn back to the hive on a quest to “defeat a monster.”

Of course they eventually fall in love and it’s very cheesy. Yeah.
