The cover that would never end.

So I believe I started this cover for book #2 back before my carpal tunnel set in. Everything was going pretty well, had just finished working on book 1, and I just got a new computer. That's when trouble started! New computer didn't like photoshop 7 anymore, and i had to go to CS2. Lots of weirdness with the program occurred, and then other drama happened, etc. Then the carpal tunnel happened! [nooo] I did originally finished this image before April of last year, because I remember premiering this as a print for NYCC 08'.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I decided to add more detail to this, because it felt "incomplete."

Course now, this WON'T be a cover image anymore, just a chapter break. Which is fine by me.

So for any of you who didn't read my journal here, The God Machine WILL be coming out this year. July is the target month. Then following that, the book will be in graphic novel format. yay!

Chances are, that you'll probably have to re-order the book in the future when ever it's re-listed for ordering. [I know, it's frustrating to me too.]

I'll have more info on that when it becomes available to me.

So that's it.

..i do like this image, even if i'm still unhappy with some details still.
