Hooray for interactiveness! I finally decided to try and make something with buttons, mostly as practice. So yeah, the animation may or may not be the best, but I still had fun making this, and that's all that matters! ^^Also, aside from those three buttons on the right... there are also two (easy to find) easter eggs. Ooooh...
Well, here's hoping this works!

Awww. This is certianly adorable. The pet button is always the most comforting and best button to push. Well, because...you make Chester happy when ya do that! Seeing people happy is just the way to go, y'know? The poke is funny. But the "Hit" is the sad button, because I figure it brings back bad memories for Chester and in return it makes me sad. -.- Anywho! The two Easter Eggs were entertaining as well. For a first try, you did an EXCELLENT job, Nellie. This is very amusing and adorable as well. Good work!

The animation seems fine to me, except for at the very beginning of the book easter egg. The first word bubble flashes kinda fast.

I'm sorry babe but how is this a daily fav. It's a *DECENT* use of the flash engine, mildly thoughtful artwork, and somewhat interesting as far as interactivity goes, but nothing more than that. Obviously you have no control over how many people you step over on DA but I really hope you are letting this shit get to your head because looking at some of your other work, this could be pushed a lot further. And to all of you who brought this overrated use of the flash engine on top of so many better works of art on this site, shame on you. You're promoting popularity, not artistry. My opinion is that you could have done a lot better spooky. If you'd like an advanced critique, just let me know and I'll tell you a few ways I think you could improve the overall quality of the animation.
