In fiction, likable characters are killed off because it affects the audience. If a character dies that no one likes, the audience won't feel anything.

Very awesome tribute to Wizardmon. Hate what happened to him and Socerymon. T-T Stupid Bandai, like so many others killing off characters I liked. Splendidly done here indeed.
