Description
  The fire danced before her, reaching towards the sky with longing.  The light stained her skin in strange shades as she watched.
  There were footsteps, and a man stepped in between her and the flames, cloaking him in shadows as he faced her.  At his presence, her heartbeat sped.  He smirked as if he knew, and held out his hand to her.
   "Dance with me."  His voice was more of a command than a request.  She hesitated, knowing that his ritual of seduction for a human woman began with a dance.
   "There's no music," she said.  His smirk grew more pronounced.
   "Isn't there?"  He took her hand and pulled her to her feet.  At his touch, there was a wave of happiness and relaxation, and inside her ears, she heard a soft and steady beat.
   "I-I really shouldn't, she said, he smiled and pulled her close so when they exhaled their clothes barely touched.
   "But you want to."  He told her quietly.  She didn't speak.  The music seemed louder and her knees felt weak.  He moved her so her hands wrapped around his neck.  They danced slowly around the fire to music only she could hear.
   They didn't stop dancing until she was so exhausted her legs gave out.  She fell onto the ground, and her eyes rested on the longing fire.  He fell upon the woman, unbothered by her obvious weak state.  She simply laid there, her eyes on the flames.
   As the fire died and the sun began to rise, he rose to leave.  She cried and begged, pounding on the ground as he left.
   She would never move again, unable to move forward in life, her mind never leaving that night, and that dance.
