It's as big as our couch. I suppose I should measure it. I'm not sure where my measuring tape is but I'll add it to the description if/when I do. Thanks for the compliment. *^_^*

HOLY S**T!! What program do you use to make that? I've been wanting to do complicated perler designs for awhile and was just curious. I tried Fuse Bead Image Converter but it's no good.

Well I work on a Mac, and essentially I use 'paint'. What I do is I find a pixel art sprite I like and I zoom in on the image, almost as close as I can, then I turn on the "View Grid". Then, each pixel becomes a template for what color I should put where. It only works for the square patterns, but for big stuff that's all I use anyway. Yeah those perler converters didn't really work for me. Also another hint on how to do big pieces is that I have 8 big boards, since their 29 pegs across I can make a 58X116 peg square. (two by four boards) then I cut up the image into 58X116 squares, re-create the image in perler, and then fuze the pieces. The Animorphs perler is actually 12 little pieces that I fused into three (for mobility incase I have to move). Anyway, that worked for me. Feel free to ask if you have anymore questions.

The idea about making the image equal to the number of pegs on the board makes a lot of sense. I'll try it out and see how it works. I enjoy doing these and I was just so bored with the simple and easy Super Mario images.
Thanks for the tip

Yeah it really broadens your choices of designs to make. But you can take it even further, the Legend of Zelda perlers I did were a lot bigger pixels originally, but I scaled them down, and then through a lot of time intensive work, cleaned up the images into something I could work with. Then with the Animorphs perler I started with a drawing. I scaled *very* far down and was able to work it into the pixel version. (the pixel version is up too if you wanted to compare). It took a lot of patience, but if you can do the possibilities are nearly endless! XD

You just blew my mind! My boyfriend does perler art- I'm gonna have to link this to him. I LOVE animorphs. You are one of my favorite people ever for this! I've helped him work before, so I can fully appreciate how much work went into such a HUGE piece! What would you say? twelve hours? More?

Thanks! Yeah, it was a labor of love. A lot of effort went into making the picture into a template I could use, but the perler itself took about two week. I'm not sure how many hours. It's hanging above my head right now. Thanks again.

Well the big peg board squares are 29 by 29 pegs and I have 8 of those, each section of 8 is one section, and there are 10 sections. now granted there are a lot of blank areas but it would be no more than... (doing the math)... 67,280 beads. 0_o
