Tali is the single most plot wrecking stubborn character I have ever created. But I love her. She was supposed to be a faceless shop keeper (a seamstress), but she needed a name, and then I gave her one, and now I have to rewrite part of my book just because. Does she have magical gifts or even any clue what is going on? Nope. Is that going to stop her from marching straight into the wilderness so that her friend's niece doesn't have to go alone? Absolutely. And it just gets better from there.

Anyway, I drew her basic work outfit, but then I realized 1. I hadn't designed her festival outfit yet and 2. that it had to be over the top, because she knows that she is her own walking advertisement. And that's the story of why I put lace on a character design like a freaking maniac...
