Description A digital redesign of a dragon I created in 2016. This was one of many dragons that I had designed when I was getting set to put together a large, dragon themed story (that I inevitably abandoned thanks to complications). As is, I've recently been thinking about getting back to that story and giving it a restart. It might not happen, but even so, I've managed to put together a niece piece of artwork. To be completely honest, I did not expect the dragon to come out looking as good as it has. While its not perfect in details, I am quite happy with how it came out. Its weird looking but cute.

In terms of things, the Angelwing is a very docile breed of dragon which is unlikely to be attacked by humans. In terms of its in-world lore, the Angelwing is a breed of dragon believed to serve the God's themselves. More specifically, the Great Goddess who played the key role in the creation of the world itself. These dragons are affectionate, gentle, and the most likely to intervene in the event of happening upon a violent scene. It can be noted that these dragons are especially well known for their fondness of the young. Be it a human child or the offspring of another dragon species, this creature will not hesitate to take charge and see to it that these helpless younguns are properly cared for. They come in a whole variety of colors, with humans having assigned classifications to the various 'sub-groups' in accordance to the color scheme (From most angelic looking, to most devilish looking).

This one was a bit of a jumble in terms of things. Lion was used for the base of the body design, with traits of bird and zebra thrown in here and there. I've been told that there's a hint of giraffe in the design, but I did not use a giraffe as any part of the reference so that might be an accidental similarity there.

Side note: Because DA is an ass with how I'm allowed to spell specific things, I was not allowed to properly label the species in the language I selected. As such, I spelt it based upon the "sound", and will be putting the actual spelling here. Engelfløyen
