My mom had to rescue this guy after he fell into some equipment at the construction sight at work. He didn't even struggle when she nabbed him; it was just to hot. 118 degrees today, again. That's 47 degrees Celsius to everyone else.

I'm calling him Soren for obvious reasons. He's to young to fly and is missing feathers on his neck so I suspect he was forced from the nest. Either by more active siblings, or parents who judged them as the weakest in their harsh environment.

We're going to see to it that he's looked after. For right now we're gonna let him be alone to adjust to his new surroundings. Poor thing has had a hell of a day.
