Description The 2nd dragon of the sky-swimming trio of light, the Moonbeam dragon~

"The ridges on its fin like wings catch and reflect the moonlight, giving off a silver glow. Thanks to this, its fish-like movements in the night sky leave behind a glowing, silver fog. A fog that many believe to be the very breath of the universe."

The Moonbeam dragon is a beast of the same size and overall build of its two counterparts, the Sunglow and the Starlight. Easily capable of carrying two people atop its back, this dragon swims through the skies with smooth, rippled movements, making it seam as if it were a fish idly moving through still water. It holds a muzzle similar to that of a hound, goat-like ears, and small horns. Its wings/fins, eyes, horns, and the markings that decorate its body all give off a vibrant silver glow. Like its counterparts, it lacks any visible pupil. It thrives on the light of the nighttime moon, and gives off a glow rivaling that of what it relies upon. Thanks to this, it is often deemed as "A precious stone that left the moons frame and struck the earth, only to become a dragon".

Its body gives off a faint glow, even where the markings are not present. Its skin as a whole is gray, and it sports a pale blue underbelly. The texture of its skin is comparable to that of a dolphin, making it feel surprisingly smooth and pleasant. Nocturnal by nature, it is exceedingly rare to encounter a Moonbeam dragon under the light of day. This beast can only fly when the moon is present - so by day, and on the nights of the new moon, it remains trapped on the ground. At times like these, it takes to swimming in the water as it otherwise would in the sky. Given it element types, it thrives in locations where bodies of water - or rivers - are present.

Calm and graceful, this breed of dragon is commonly compared to the very ocean. Capable of being extremely calm - but a dangerous storm my emerge at any moment, though it is completely natural. It is a breed of dragon that is mellow most of the time, but can and will become extremely hostile - sometimes without real reason. It is safe to approach these dragons most of the time, but it had been deemed wise to present them with a peace offering to ensure that trust is formed. A Moonbeam that does not trust a being in its presence its likely to lash out without warning when in a hostile mood. When trust has been formed, long term warnings are given prior, making it easy to avoid unwanted bloodshed. The Moonbeam is only willing to breed under the light of the full moon - it is rumored that alternately colored offspring can be created under the light of the blue, or the "red" moon.

This dragon is a light/water elemental.
The Moonbeam always gives off a glow, but its alternate element is that of the water. It sprays a cold, glowing mist onto possible attackers, paralyzing them with the sudden chill before going in to strike a fatal blow.

The diet of the Moonbeam consists mostly of fish, small animals, and plant life. However, any larger creature unfortunate enough to be slain by this dragon will be made a meal of. In the wild, nothing is wasted. All food holds much needed nourishment.
