Description
A preview of a Pyroar variant in the midst of being finished. Given the recent drama, I wanted to show some appreciation for by giving Pyroar a bit of a makeover. The one depicted above is very much a female; undecided on how to go about designing the male.
As is, I see very little variation between the lion species that I look up. So I'm throwing together a lazy mixture of some traits. I'm also specifically designing this one to better accent the Lion's natural hated of Hyenas. In essence, because Poochyena and Mightyena are dark type, this Pyroar has adapted to take on a primary type which would allow them to cause serious damage to their mortal enemy; while granting them an inherent resistance to them. I threw bug type out the window; which left behind Fairy and Fighting type as the choices. Given how violent Lion's tend to be; my answer is Fighting type. Fighting/Fire type. Overused? Probably. But it works for what I'm going for.

If you have a color pallet in mind, Nixie; I'm all ears. I'll start coloring tomorrow. After my interview.
