I saw Tenchi jerk away from the hot ashes but not without geting some painfull burnes on her cheek and neck. On an impulse I ran at Joe and grabed his empty hands wrist twitsing it just enough to snap befor I flung him across the campsite. Turning to look over my sholder I could see Tenchi trying to wipe the blood off of her bady burned eyes and face, tears were falling off of her face but she wasn't crying tears are alo-vera for the eye's. Tobi ran forward and began looking over Tenchi's wounds, not without getting one of his own. I dont know if it was an instinct or not but when my brother tryed to help Tenchi she bit down on his right hand...Hard. I could hear Tobi's fingers snap but he held perfectly still waiting for Tenchi to let him go, I could see some form of emotion in Tenchi's eyes but I could not understand the emotion.
When Tenchi let Tobi go he turned to Joe. "As squad leader you must obay everything I say! You disobayed a direct order and attacked a civilian on her own property! If we get sued because of your actions our comander is gonna kill you! Disobay me again and youll be liveing on the streats have I made myself clear?!" Tobi yelled angrily at Joe befor turning back to Tenchi who was still wipeing blood out of her eyes. "Are you allright Miss...My we havent eaven heard your name yet." Tenchi looked at Tobi through squinted eyes. "Tenchi Henarei. You?" Tobi laughed and scratched the back of his head. Were not allowed to tell our real names...Joe and Arora are allowed to but my sister and I arent." Tenchi tilted her head to the side. "Then what shall I call you?" Tobi tolted his head. "You can call my sister Kurenai Tora and you can call me Kokutan Tora." Tenchi tilted an eyebrow. "Crimson tiger and ebony tiger? Then my nickname would be Shinju ookami. Pearl wolf."
I turned and looked over at Joe who was cussing under his breath. "Shut the hell up Joe!" I yelled. Tobi suddenly grabbed me by the ear. "Dont use such faul language! See you around Shinju ookami." After we were a good two miles away from Tenchi's camp site Tobi took hold of his wounded hand and began moaning in pain. "Damn that kid can bite hard!" Tobi took off his glove and we gasped. The gloves are soft but desighned to be completely impossible to cut, as was all of the cloth we wore. "H-how is this possible! She ripped the glove with her teeth! Ive blocked swords with these gloves then all she does is bit them and...!" Tobi winced in pain the cold air stinging his open wounds...

I continued to wipe the blood out of my eyes, the burning sensation would keep me up all night if I didnt get all of the blood out. I glanced at my hand and without thinking licked the blood off of my wand, winceing at the bitter taste. Part of me wanted to lick the reast of the blood off of my hand but the reast of me hated the tast, so I wiped the blood off on the grass. "Your being offly quiet today Instinct. Is something bothering you?" I asked my usualy atentive freind. "Just contemplateing something. That boy...Fang? He wasn't just a vampire I could tell by his eyes. And those two tiger demons we saw earlier. Brother and sister. Usualy if the male is older he will kill or torture the younger. They seemed to get along just fine though...very strange." I smiled "Your just being paranoied." I laughed and layed back down finnished with cleaning my eyes.
I awoke at five thirty in the morning and spotted Shift sleeping across from me. "Probably out hunting all night." I thought to myself. I stood quietly trying not to wake shift and place one of my blankets over her snow-white body. Smileing I gently patted the spirit-wolf's head. "Shes my family now. Shes all I have." I thought to myself as I changed out of my bloodstained clothes. I wore a purpple long sleve shirt with a picture of a wolf covered in blood that says "Wanna play chicken?" with a pair of black pants with a star pattern going all the way down my left leg. I tied a white ribbon around my kneck and looked myself over. "This will have to do." I said to myself, at least if I was going to bow down and apalogise to Fang I would look cute doing it. "And if he trys to pull anything the puppydog face works better in a cute outfit."
I began walking twoards school grounds and about halfway there Shift flew up along side me. "Hop on I'll give you a ride to school." I climbed onto Shifts back and we flew straight to school. "So Tenchi whats with the getup? As you trying to impress someone or being prepared to use the puppydog eyes?" I smiled wickedly. "Both." I said with a hint of playfullness in my tone. "Sometimes its just fun to mess with people's heads." "Well your in an evil mood today arent you Tenchi?!" I heard Shift laugh. After about twenty five minutes of looking Shift and I finnaly found Fang or to be truthfull he found us. "Yo! She-wolf! I have a bone to pick with you! What the big idea running from our fight! Why I oughta rip that ear of yours right off!"
