School Of FreaksThe Wolf, the Fox and the Cromson Tiger
My name is Tenchi Henarei, and I am one of the newest students attending Desert Rose High A.K.A The school of freaks. I dont know how I ended up coming to this school, but hey when you have little to fall back on youll evedentally wind up in the cheapest school you can find. Let me explain, I am a sixteen year old female with sholder lenght brown hair and copper brown eye's. I stand at about five foot two and have pale skin (with a very slight tan). So why am I atteneding the school of freaks? Well I happen to be a wolf demon, an all white wolf to be exact. I've spent most of my life living in the forest thats about three miles away from this school, its a nice place to live as long as you dont mind all the bugs and all the wild animals that live in the area. In the winter, all the snow makes my body cold and stiff and I cant find enough food or fire wood to stay at a constant body weight and temperature.
This school doesn't look like much, dull yellow walls, red roofing with various designs of animals and other creatures. The cafitearia serves palatable foods like ham sandwitches and tuna salad, not foods I prefer to eat. The football feild is covered with dead and ratted grass...I'll have to fix that little problem some time later. I slowly made my way to my first class on the top floor, room G201 English. I walked into the classroom to see fifteen or sixteen other students, most of them were demons and I was a few harpie's in the back of the class. I took a seat close to the window that had a poster that blocked the sun from my face, I have allways disliked the sun. I listned as the last bell rang and another batch of student's burst its way into the classroom. All in all there was forty-two students in my first hour class...fun.
We all sat in the classroom for around twenty minutes befor the teacher stood up from her desk and gave us a writeing assighnment. "I want you all to write a short paragraph from the point of veiw of any creature you can think of. You have five minutes." I took a moment or so to think over what I wanted to write before quickly scribbling down my paragraph onto the paper. Once the five minutes were up the teachure suddenly called my name. "Tenchi Henarei, I would like you to read your paragraph out loud." I took my paper in my hands as I stood. "Under the black shade, I reast my weary legs. Out in the golded wheat feilds, hunt for my next meal. In..." The teacher suddenly cut me off. "You did not do what I asked! I hope that none of you other students..."
A voice from behind me interrupted the teacher dead in her trecks. "I think that she should finish what she was saying. I kina liked it." I turned to see a beautifull Tiger demon. She was about five foot six with lime green eyes, grogice long crimson colored hair with ebony black ends. I suddenly felt an envy of the tiger, not only was she radiant but she had an aura that reeked of confidence. I'm just a plane faced and bodied little runt. "Come now Ms. Desert. You can't honestly like what this wolf wrote now can you?! And she's not mutch of a wolf at that." The teacher tryed to talk the tiger out of her request, but the girl insisted none the less. "Ah, but I do like what she was saying; I would to here the rest. Go on Tenchi finish." I took a glance at the teacher who seemed to have given in.
Takeing in a breath I continued. "In the dark I do not sleep, for what's the fun of the night when I' asleep. I run in the dewy grass and roll in the soft soil, before the sun comes up and I start the ritual again." I finneshed speaking as the bell rang, quickly gathering my things as I left the classroom. My next class is Algebra in room A105, I HATE math. My algebra class went by quickly and smoothly, I didn't get chewed out by this teacher...probably because he's a werewolf. After math came science then lunch, and it was'nt untill lunch that the tiger from my first hour class came and sat with me. "Hi. My names Shingaku." I took a glance at the tiger before returning to my meal of goose livers and brussle sprouts. "You don't seem to be mutch of a eater. Do goose livers go good with brussle sprouts?" I shook my head no. "To be honest I just need to eat a little more meat. I've never really been mutch of a eater." I took one of the smaller sprouts and spread the liver onto it before popping it into my mouth. "Do you like poetry?" I lifted my head and nodded before giving what is left of my food to one of the begging dogs that were wondering around the school yard.
"I like poetry but most people dont take the time to listen to my poems. You seem to take the time to listen though." Shingaku smiled sweetly at me. "To be honest I love poetry, your poem was very intereasting." My fourth hour class was P.E. My teachers name was Stacie Seaglass. Ms. Seaglass is a sea serphent, the kind that can take the form of a human...with sea-green skin and dull black eyes.(Ms.Seaglass's hair was a pomogranit red color that went well with her skin tone) "O.K students our first semester will consist of six-mile sprints and archery! I want each of you to attatch these leg weight's to your anckles and stick this vitamin water in your pocket. When you finish your sprint go over to the feilds and wait for my instructions."
I did as instructed and tied the twenty pound weights to my anckles befor starting at a jog. "You have very strong legs." My mother once said to me. "One day they will cary you grait distances." She was right, my legs were the strongest part of my body. Stronger than my arms, my will...My heart. I stayed at a jog during the entire six mile sprint, even at only a jog I moved faster and easier than the other kids. My legs moved swiftfully, one in front of the other. I sat in the dead grass at the feilds for around twenty minutes waiting for everyone else to finish their sprints. By the time everyone had finished it was time to leave for our fith hour classes. My fith class of the day was art, all we had to do was draw a picture of our corrisponding sighn; in my case I drew a wolf reasting in a rose bush. (I didnt understant what he meant by corrisponding sighn)
