A loud, sickening crack sounded off in the silence- followed by a muffled scream. A moment later, a man in his late thirties stumbled out of the building- the park bathroom. He tightly held his bleeding, broken arm against his body, and he struggled to spit out something that had been crammed down his throat. Eventually, he pulled his hand away from his arm to try and tear the smothering item out of his jaws, and after a minute of struggling he managed to do so. A tennis ball was eventually removed from his maw, along with a few of his teeth. Teeth, which had been broken and dislodged when the intruding item was shoved down his throat. Wide eyed and afraid, he made a move to run- only to be tripped.

He looked down to his feet, and his mouth opened in an attempt to scream but his voice caught in his throat. There was a snake. A huge, yellow and white snake. The beast was coiled around his legs- constricting to keep him from getting away. Again, he tried to scream but there was no voice- it was as if some unseen force had silenced him. A dark, angry laugh met his ears. The being that had attacked him- that had shoved the ball into his mouth and snapped his arm like a stick- stepped out of the park bathroom calmly. Golden, reptilian eyes peered into his. A forked, serpent tongue flicked slowly, as if trying to taste his fear. There was an angry, feral smile plastered on his face.

The smile of a hunter, peering down at the unsuspecting animal that had wandered into his trap. Desperate for escape, the man reached down as if to pry the serpent off of his legs- only to have a hand swallowed up and bitten by the creature. He recoiled in pain, and again his scream was silent. His voice was gone, and no matter how hard he tried to shout no sound left him. His eyes watered from the pain as he peered up at his attacker, who raised a metal clad hand to shake a finger and tisk him. He slowly moved closer, appearing to be in no hurry as he approached his terrified prey. When near, he raised a foot high above the man, only to slam it down on top of his chest.

The force left the wounded male wheezing, and the weight of the leg on his chest kept him down while the serpent slithered off of him. The snake moved around, eventually coming to stop so that its face was just above his. The creature parted its jaws wide, and seemed as if it were going to swallow his head hole. Instead, it dealt his face an aggressive bite, before it moved and instead coiled around the leg of its master. For a split second, the assailant tore his eyes away from the form of his victim so that he could peer down at his scaly companion. In that instant, a gentle look gleamed in his golden eyes- the man mistook it for one of mercy, and began to believe that he'd be let go without further harm.

He listened intently as the golden eyed male whispered something- but all he managed to hear was something akin to a hiss. The mans eyes fell back to his prey, and once again they were dark and angry. The golden orbs radiated with malice, and he flicked his tongue again to hiss loudly. He stared down at the mortified man, who silently pleaded for mercy. The male titled his head as if in though, making the victim believe that he may be released. To his surprise, the foot holding him down was raised- but that brought no sense of relief. The golden eyed male peered down onto him with a twisted smile, and as the man struggled to get up he saw it.

His attacker mouth something. A word then upon seeing it, made his blood fall cold. Run. That was what his attacker said silently, and without using a voice. The man didn't need to think twice, to know that there was more terror to come. That didn't stop him from turning and bolting in the direction of the nearest apartment complex, though. In his mind, he believed that he could make it the mile and a half he needed to travel to reach salvation. Surely, his attacker wouldn't pursue if he made it to a place lined with houses, where all he'd have to do is scream to get attention. He hoped that. He believed that. Little did he know, that it wasn't true.

This was a game. A sick, twisted game and the victor would be the man- no, the beast- who started it. He ran himself ragged. His lungs burned and ached from the cold night air, and his legs screamed and pleaded for him to stop and rest. His broken arm, which flailed in the wind, triggered further agony. Blood soaked into his shirt and dripped from the useless appendage, but given his desperation to live, he pushed onward. The road came into his view. Hope for safety hit him. If he could flag down a car and beg for help, he could without a doubt be saved. Or, so he believed. He didn't make it to the road- or at least he didn't make it close enough for anyone passing in a car to notice him.

He tripped, seemingly over nothing and fell face first into the wet grass. Fear flooded his system upon trying to get up. He'd tripped over nothing, but he knew something had done it. Just prior to falling, he felt as if something had slammed into him. Some unseen force had gotten hold of him, and it sent him to the ground. Feebly, he looked up and peered over his shoulder. The monster pursuing him, was only a short distance behind him- and yet he looked as if he hadn't been running. His breathing was calm, and he still wore that dark smile upon his face. He eyed the man intently for a moment, before his eyes darted off to watch as a group of cars passed by.

He seemed to laugh then, but no sound came from him. That is, until he pursed his lips to release a shrill whistle. At first, the man had no idea why his attacker had whistled. That is, until the dogs appeared. A whole group of them- easily ten by count. All scrawny, bony strays that looked as if they hadn't had a proper meal in weeks. Some small- there was a chihuahua among them. The biggest looked as if it were part pit bull, part German shepherd. Trembling, he tore his eyes away from the dogs that steadily approached him, and he instead looked into the golden orbs of his attacker. They seemed to be glowing madly- radiating with some mystic power.

That was when it seemed to click, just what had been going on. Those eyes- terrible, golden eyes. They glowed with power- and that power seemed to be what was rendering him mute. That power was why he'd tripped- and it was what controlled the dogs. He didn't even need to whistle to draw the beasts out, he'd only done it to add to the terror factor of the moment. Desperate, he tried to stand but his body wouldn't obey. He felt as if his body was tied to the ground. He was helpless to do anything but watch, as the clearly hungry dogs approached him. They- or rather the monster controlling them- toyed with him. The dogs came near, jaws snapping, drool flying from their mouths.

They latched on to his clothing to tear it. Their jaws snapped in his face, making their teeth click beside his ears. Saliva splattered on his face and hands. They chomped their jaws. They snarled. Not once, did their teeth make contact with his flesh. The whole ordeal was done to fake of terrifying him- not to harm him. No, he knew. He just knew, deep in the back of his mind, that when death came it would be at the hands of the humanoid figure controlling the dogs. All at once, they disbanded. They left his side to fan out at a distance- but they didn't leave. Rather, they sat and waited patiently, as if expecting food in exchange for their obedience.

Despite how far away they trailed, he could still hear them growling. They were the impatient, hungry growls of an animal waiting for its meal. They knew there would be carnage, and they wanted to stick around for sake of dining on the remains. They licked their mouths hungrily in anticipation, as the monster and his beast of a snake approached the man. The game, had come to its end. No more chases, no more play. When he was near, the serpent slithered down from his shoulders to wrap around the neck of the man. As if on cue, he regained his ability to scream. Or rather, he was allowed to scream. He didn't know why that was, until the giant python suddenly engulfed his head with its jaws.

He shouted for all he was worth in hopes of being saved, but all he received was pain. Unable to see, and unable to move he was flipped around so that he was lying on his back and rather than his stomach. What remained of his torn shirt, was ripped away without warning- and then it was as if something stabbed him in the gut. His muffed screams, turned to gurgles at the monster tore into his abdomen with its gauntlet covered hands. What was worse, he still couldn't move. He was completely, and utterly helpless to do anything while his intestines were brutally ripped out of his body. Part of him was grateful that he didn't have to lay witness to the sight- and that he didn't have to hear it.

The wet sounds of flesh and blood being mashed together with every clasp of metal hands. The faint sound of skin ripping when another portion of his organs was ripped clean out of him. Blood and guts were cast aside, left to rot in the grass. Or, at least they would have been, if the hungry dogs hadn't rushed forward to devour every discarded scrap. That was their reward for earlier obedience. Fresh, raw, meat. They ate it gladly and watched as the man's insides were ripped out and tossed to them. After a few minutes, the mutilated male began to fall silent. Blood loss and suffocation hit him like a bus, and seeing as he wouldn't be able to utter a sound loud enough to gain anyone's attention, the serpent spit his head out.

Immediately he took a breath, and he gurgled on the blood that had risen to his mouth from the damage. At least half of his organs had been ripped out and tossed carelessly aside, and that damage was more than enough to kill him. Yet, his attacker wasn't satisfied with that. He moved a metal covered hand to grasp the mans throat, and he squeezed roughly. At last, he began to speak- though, he only said one phrase.

"Meyla, says goodnight!.." He hissed, before he dug his metal clad fingers into the mans throat to rip it open. As if content with his work, he pulled back and stood up to watch as the man struggled to stay alive for another minute or so. A look of recognition and fear remained in his eyes up until death, as the name that had been uttered to him sank in. Meyla, a young woman he had preyed upon. A young woman who's life he'd ruined. The beast that had killed him, did so in her name- and for reasons he'd never know. For reasons he'd die, longing to know. The longing was on his mind, as life finally left him. Once his victim was dead, the male peered onto his bloodstained gauntlets.

Calmly, he walked over to a nearby tree, and from there he proceeded to etch the words "Snakeman-Jack" into the bark. The blood of his victim soaked into the carving, and made it stand out more. With his work done, he allowed the pack of dogs to have at the corpse, and he picked up his serpent companion to wrap him around his shoulders before he started through the park. He'd made a good kill that night- he'd done well to avenge the innocent. Tomorrow, he'd do the same to the next sorry bastard who was on his kill list...

If we bring you there, we can easily find out what kind of magic it is, and how to get you "Free" of this guy~.. That place... Is kinda scary though.
