Island/Landscape Name: Tre'brødre

Location: Lukewarm Sea

Size

Total: 268,580 square miles/695,621 square kilometers

Apart: 89,526 sq m, 89,522 sq m, 89,524 sq m

Description: Tre'brødre is the name of a clover shaped segment of land that has thusly been decided into three regions. This continent harbours the most unique diversity of environments in comparison to other locations. The dead center of Tre'brødre is that of an airid desert land. This desert area takes up a total of eighty six-thousand miles. The plants that grow there sport dark coloration, and are designed to go months, if not years, without water. The animals there are capable of obtaining their water from the plants and insects which they devour. Predators keep hydrated by drinking the blood of their prey. Reptiles thrive here, as to various species of birds. There are coyotes and small fox specis present as well, along with a variety of rodent species like rabbits or Prairie dogs. Cactus is the most common form of plant.

There is a nine hundred and seventy five hundred mile ring of dry grasslands surrounding this dessert. This less dry but still humid area is home primarily to dense grasses and short species of tree or bush. Most of the animals there are designed to go without water, but are eager to drink whenever it is present. Rodents and birds thrive in the grass, as it both provides them with food and shelter. Wolves and larger fox species inhabit this area as well, as do a small variety of deer and horse species. The climate is cooler than that of the nearby desert, but much more humid. As a result, algae and moss are highly present along the grassy floor.

A eighty five-thousand mile forest encircles the grassland. The overall structure of the land itself has Tre'brødre shaped more or less like a saucer. The desert is, in fact, at sea level - but the outermost area of the land is more than one thousand feet above sea level. Only enormous waves could prove to flood the land. The enormous ring of forestry in Tre'brødre holds just as great a variety. Numerous species of pine, cedar, oak, and fruit and nut trees can be found. There is also a unique species of eucalyptus present, along with a variety of berry bushes. This diversity of plant life has resulted in the presence of a unique koala and monkey species, as well as a variety of deer, bears, large cat, wolf, bird, and rodent species. The forest has been dubbed as the best place to find food and water. Three hundred small ponds create the outline of a blue clover, and can be spotted through gaps in the trees.

The inhabitants of Tre'brødre hass also opted to make their homes within the forest, given the shelter and food opportunities that are present there. Surrounding the forests is a  twenty five mile ring of rocky cliffs, followed by only three miles of beach. The final fifty-two miles consists of the surrounding shore, most of which  remains deep underwater until low tide. A species of mountain cat and two forms of mountain goat inhabit the cliffs, as to many rodent and predatory bird species. Seventeen trails crossing through the cliffs lead into the forest area, where the villages can be found. The beach is home to turtle and crustacean species, along with a variety of mollusks and two forms of gull. The diversity of the Sea life has been unstudied.

The three villages are not individually named, but simply referred to as the Northeastern, Northwestern, and Southern villages of Tre'brødre. The Southern village is the largest, while the Northwestern village is the smallest. Markers are used to indicate the borders of the divided land.

Origin/History: A massive storm at sea resulted in seven ships being washed onto the beach of what would soon be known as Tre'brødre. None of the ships were in any condition to return to the water, an hence, those who had been on board were forced to try and make due with what was present. Some set to work on repairing the ships, others were fascinated by their new surroundings, and a handful remainder to timid to do more than seek shelter and wait for something to change. Unaware of the drastic changes in the tide, the workers eventually came to realize that they were unable to make progress on repairing the ships. For every issue they managed to fix, three more would come into light. The tide eventually destroyed the ships, leaving those who had been stranded there completely at the mercy of nature.

Through hardship and their gradual discovery of the environment, the stranded people - some two hundred and ten of them, as an estimate, began to make themselves at home. Within a few years, three diverse societies has formed. To prevent conflict, the three groups took to inhabiting different portions of the land. It would be centuries later that official boundaries and landmarks would be placed. The same would apply to when the total size estimates would be established in terms of the land and it's varying ecosystems. All of the information set may be off, but that has yet to be confirmed.

Of the three groups, the largest consisted of people who sought to learn as much as they could about the land. The smallest of the groups contains people who enjoy experimenting with herbs and animal substances in hopes of determining what can and cannot be used as medicine. The middle group consists primarily of those who are content to simply life off of the land. In more blunt terms, scientists, doctors, and hunters. Over the years the groups began to socialise, which created a little more diversity. Even so, the three villages remain separate. War has yet to break out between them.

It was inevitable that the descendants of those shipwrecked people would view Tre'brødre as their home. Even when they managed to put together a means of travel, the people were content to remain as they were. The only real use for their ships came from fishing, or sending the baishes individuals to Frostøya. Albeit, prior to sending their unwanted to the frozen landscape, they would be cast to their own dessert. In either situation, death was normal.

Origin/History: Fødested came into be when the gods, seeking to bestow their wisdom onto the world, created it in order to house their newer creations. New animals and creatures appear there as time goes on, as the gods never put an end to their creativity. Lovingly referred to as the motherland, it is the birthplace of humans. To the point that a majority of the human population is believed to still reside there.

This place is still greatly influenced by the gods, and thus, changes with every passing moment. In only a year, what might have started as a dense forest, would have become a freshwater pond. All is as the gods have willed it. Due to the abundance of nature, this is also believed to be the home of Styrk, the goddess of nature.

Many humans have lived and died on these lands, and as years pass, this will continue. The variety of villages produce a variety of goods, and trades are frequently made. There is no one ruler of the entire continen, just many people who lead the villages in which they must protect. Hunters, scientists, healers, and so on thrive here. This is a place of extreme diversity.

Acceptance, not so much.

The Unnamed Isles

There are an estimate of 600 unnamed, unexplored, and uninhabited islands spread throughout the world. The come in a variety of sizes, shapes, and overall biology. Given their vast numbers and nearly limitless locations, any unnamed or unclaimed island that a Viking comes across will be known as an Unnamed Isle, until it is officially inhabited or claimed as the territory of an existing Viking village.

As is, these Isles are free to claim, and free to explore. Anyone or any group has the right to inhabit and watch over any of these isles. The responsibility of protecting it from invaders will then fall upon the self-proclaimed owner.
